Hello friends
i got one customer from slovakia.
he wants to exchange indian rosewood from me and ready to exchange for his spruce.
has anyone heard or used spruce from slovakia.
whats is density or is it good for classical or acoustic guitars?

It'll just be another name for European Spruce, Picea abies, exactly the same species as German Spruce, Italian spruce, Swiss spruce, Carpathian spruce, Norway Spruce etc. All the same, It's growing conditions are more important than the 'nationality it professes. It can be the best tonewood available or firewood, as always it's down to the individual piece of wood.

+1 colin . get my euro spruce from john preston , they harvest the spruce abt 100 Km from slovakia in .n. romania
